Have a great weekend everyone.

~Beth

Dan got me a small heart shaped box of chocolates last year, just like my dad always got for me as a child. That was a perfect gift. :)

Our delicious dinner at Bones Steak House (Atlanta) last year!

We always get each other those heart shaped boxes of chocolates. It's a tradition born of our sarcastic hatred of all things cheesy-commercial like that... but now I would hate to see a V-day without it. :-) -Merry

Last year's gift was awesome! I don't know if it was my all-time favorite gift, but it is most memorable. And I'm too shy to say what it was on your blog.

One year in the '60's my daddy brought home three different colored heart shaped boxes of candy, one for mom, one for my younger sister, and one for me. That had never happened before and didn't happen again while I lived at home. Must have been a good year at the Wire Mill?

My man gave me a spa day - it was awweesome! Just as a side note, I just discovered Watkins countertop spray (green tea + aloe)at Target and it is spectacular! Works better and is cheaper than Mrs. Meyers, my next purchase will definetely be the sink set.

I am here, and D sent me! And i am glad i came! My husband brought me a bouqet of my favorite flowers to school, all the other women were jealous, which is why it was my favorite, until this year. He got so excited he already gave me the camera i have been pinning for!

My husband cooked me dinner one year for V-day. It was adorable, he lit candles, bought wine, and actually worn the apron I bought him.

Best V-day was a treasure hunt that started when I turned off the alarm in the am. It took me all over the house and ended up under the sink with a Tiffany's box. We were in college and it was totally not like him!

Hmmm... this is a tough one, but I guess it would be last year's gift - 75.00 gift card to Blooming Colors, a local nursery. That way I could have flowers that would (hopefully) last forever!

My dad gave me a bracelet with a heart on it one year. I still have it; it is very cheesy but a great memory!

Valentine's Day is the ONE day out of the year that my husband prepares a meal for me. He does not cook at all and this is such a special treat.

My birthday is the day before Valentines Day - so I don't celebrate much, at least I don't expect anything. My husband, once, sent me flowers to the school I taught at and it was a complete surprise!

Last year my husband (boyfriend at the time) wrapped up a box and had my two girls bring it to me together with him that morning. It was soooo sweet that not only did he ask me to marry him but my kids were included in asking for us to be married! It was such a memorbale day for our family.

In highschool, my now ex-boyfriend, surprised me at lunch with a small stuffed animal holding a single rose. Later that evening, he came to my house with more...pajama pants, a candle, and a new notebook. It was sweet and cute, without going overboard.

Our first Valentine's Day together, Mike gave me a stuffed puppy dog that was about 3 feet long that said "I love you this much!" It came along with flowers, candy and a sweet card. He knew it was cheesey, but he said "I really do love you this much and so much more. Its immeasurable."

To be honest, I can't even remember any Valentine's Day gifts that I have gotten. We usually don't make a huge deal out of it.

DH gave me the cutest pink frog the year before we got married. I was like, "Awww, how cute." While my Mom, Grandmother, and DH stood there staring at me. Then I discovered a diamond bracelet around the frog's neck :) It was so sweet!
